I cooked dinner last night, which is quite the rare occurrence. But I think it should happen more because I really enjoyed it and so did my mom and Melissa (our friend and new housemate, for a while, at least).

I made peppercorn chicken and lemon zest spinach. Healthy and really delicious too. I rubbed dijon all over the chicken breasts before I cooked them, which was fun.

I really enjoy eating healthy delicious things. I also really enjoy gossip blogs, like a lot. Which, as I think about it, is quite contradicting. Because if gossip blogs are the junk food of the news world, my news persona must be morbidly obese—-its so hard for me to sit down and read real news. I’m trying, I really am. I’ve started going to this website, realclearpolitics.com, that is a conglomeration of news blogs with a variety of stances on relevant issues. I like it—-its like the peppercorn chicken, delicious and healthy. But yet, without skipping a beat as I fire-up the Internet, i type in perezhilton.com and read all the outrageous, irrelevant to life stories. It kind of makes me feel famous myself to read them, which is probably one reason I really like going there. Alas, I am going to try and strive for a balance between the chocolate, deep-fried, sugar-covered gossip blogs and the boneless, skinless, news sites. Moderation is key?
